You were called to serve You were a spoke in the wheel of a mission You had to stretch beyond your values to carry it out

You did and saw the unimaginable You lost brothers and sisters You were ordered to press on

You left Family You lost Family You sacrificed more than anyone knows

You come home with residue on your hearts, your minds and your souls

All of it matters

Your service is not disposable Your sacrifice is not disposable Your quality of life is not disposable

You have every right to be disappointed You have every right to feel despair You have every right to feel what you’re feeling

All of it matters

But no one, no matter how strong can reconcile so, so much on their own

So, know today, tomorrow and every day, you NO LONGER have to weather ANY OF THIS ALONE
